OBD Consultants is your Civil and Structural design company based in Silverdale, North Shore, Auckland dedicated to supplying you with innovative and cost effective design solutions. OBD Consultants brings together many decades of deep design experience utilizing the skills of engineering technicians and CAD drafters where needed, offering you a practical design approach with innovative solutions to projects in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Tony O'Brien
Tony immigrated to New Zealand from Ireland in 2002 and prior to forming OBD Consultants he carried out civil and structural design and project management services for a wide range of reputable firms throughout the world. Tony graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity College Dublin in 1993 and started his career in the field of engineering in 1994.
Tony leads the OBD to ensure high quality and efficiency in our outputs are maintained while inputting in high risk projects as and where needed.
When not in the office Tony loves spending time with his family and friends, playing guitar in the local band, developing his Aikido skills and cycling the back hills of Makarau.
